Child mortality down by 30 percent from 1990 levels

Child mortality rates have declined by 30 percent in the last twenty years. The rate of decline is above the MDG target rate of 4.4% per year. The rate of decline was low in Oceania and souther sub-Saharan Africa. For India, child mortality has come down thirty two percentage, reports Sify News.
